Project Description

CEI has provided engineering and environmental consulting services to the City of Amesbury Department of Public Works for a variety of services including stormwater BMP engineering, NPDES stormwater management & compliance, MS4 annual reporting, hazardous waste services, IDDE services, vegetation management compliance, watershed investigation/bacterial assessment and stream management planning.

CEI worked with the Amesbury DPW to make water quality improvements throughout the Lake Attitash Watershed. Projects had a variety of infiltration based stormwater BMP engineering and design elements including deep sump/leaching catch basin replacement/installation and vegetated swales/filter strips installation. Specifically, an area at the end of a dead-end was identified to be transitioned from pervious surface to impervious area to help increase infiltration within the watershed.
