Projects

CEI has assisted seven Massachusetts communities (Groveland, Hadley, Lynnfield, Dartmouth, Abington, Lunenburg, and Boxboro) with MVP Planning Projects.

These projects focused on a stakeholder-driven planning process developed by The Nature Conservancy to develop prioritized actions for climate change resiliency. For each of these projects, CEI conducted research and interviews with key stakeholders, led a full-day stakeholder workshop to identify key issues and prioritized actions, prepared a final report, and conducted a public listening session to present recommendations. The reports provide the basis for future implementation with funding from MVP Action Grants. CEI recently assisted Groveland, Hadley, and Lynnfield with submittal of MVP Action Grant applications.
