Back to Projects

CEI provided design, plan review, permitting, and site inspection services as a subcontractor for the Federal Aviation Administration to remove and replace existing underground fuel lines and appurtenances for three 10,000-gallon underground storage tanks that supply fuel to boilers and backup generators. CEI provided permit applications and coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Oil Remediation and Compliance Bureau under the Construction of New or Substantially Modified Underground Storage System Program.

The project also included minor demolition of existing buildings, removal, and/or replacement of above ground storage tanks, and modifications and replacement of interior system control panels. CEI acted as the permit liaison between the FAA and NH DES to install the new system components in accordance with state regulations.
