Project Description
CEI has an ongoing partnership with MassBay Community College in Wellesley to assist with various drainage and stormwater-related projects. CEI is primarily assisting with implementation of EPA’s NPDES MS4 Phase II project, including preparation of a stormwater management program plan (SWMP), Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) Plan, Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Plan, completion of annual reports, stormwater dry weather outfall screening, inspecting stormwater Best Management Practices, and determining requirements under the Charles River phosphorus TMDL.
In addition, CEI has completing detailed stormwater system mapping across the campus, as well as developed a Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures (SPCC) Plan to address EPA’s oil storage and spill requirements. Future work will likely include conceptual and final design of stormwater BMPs to remove phosphorus from stormwater.
