This is a 3-year project wherein CEI is given assignments that include studies, designs and inspection. Working with a committee, CEI prepares designs and other information and reviews and revises it based on the committee's comments. The committee is made up of the City Wastewater Superintendent; the New Hampshire DES and the EPA coordinators; the City's Conservation agent and a representative of the Audubon Society who did volunteer work related to streambank restoration. CEI was selected from a field of about 15 national and regional companies. One task order includes the evaluation of existing data followed by design of varied BMPs in an urban pond watershed. Several of CEI's designs are now under construction. The project is part of a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) done as part of the City's Combined Sewer Overflow remediation.
