Subdivision Plan Review

As part of a large residential subdivision CEI worked with engineering and planning departments to compile comments and to deliver these to the ZBA for the review. This was an affordable housing project that bypassed normal planning board review. Our charge was to review the plans for completeness, zoning requirements and drainage calculations. Our most significant findings included that the drainage area delineations did not include land upgradient of the property and curve numbers were inconsistent and did not accurately characterize the existing and proposed conditions. There were also several deficiencies through the zoning bylaws and subdivision rules and regulation design standards. The Town of Milford General Counsel retained CEI to provide reviews of all affordable housing developments.
